George William ``Bill'' Hill, 85, of the 200 block of Bedford Ct., died March 30, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a native of Montcalm, W.Va., and was a retired electrician from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Bowers Hill Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha F. Hill; one daughter, Margaret H. Lathlean of Anaheim, Calif.; one son, Bobby E. Hill of Summervile, S.C.; four sisters, Loessie Doss and Ruby Richardson, both of Bluewell, W. Va., Mildred Fitzko of Rock, W. Va., and Mary Moosy of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Mel Kunkle. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
