Mabelle Catherine Williams Mitchell, 93, of the 3300 block of Ocean Shore Ave., a homemaker, died March 31, 1995 in a Virginia Beach hospital.
She was a native of Norfolk and was the widow of Clarence L. Mitchell Sr. She was a member of Wycliffe Presbyterian Church, Ocean Park Women's Club and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter (NU)45.
Survivors include three sons, Clarence L. Mitchell Jr. of Fletcher, N.C., Ronald Earl Mitchell of Charlotte, N.C., and Vance G. Mitchell of Virginia Beach; one sister, Mrs. Ottie Margaret Holmes of Lakeland, Fla.; a granddaughter, Ginger Rene Mitchell of Virginia Beach and two other granddaughters; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. William Shelton. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Norfolk. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday for visitation. Memorial donations may be made to Wycliffe Presbyterian Church, 1445 Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Va.
