A 3-year-old boy who was shot last week in the 1300 block of Johnstons Road was released from Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters on Friday.
The boy, Dajon Yearty, was shot in the head and hand while he was in a stairwell of the Oakmont Apartments on March 24, police said. Keisha Harrison, 17, also was injured in the shooting. She is recovering in a hospital.
Police said the shots were fired from an area near the building's parking lot.
One suspect is in custody, police said. Another suspect, a male who goes by the name ``Poochie,'' is being sought. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Line at 441-5100.
