JACOB A. BRENNEMAN JR.

Jacob Allen Brenneman Jr., 73, of the 100 block of Montford Court, died March 30, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Brenneman was born in Norfolk. He was a retired band director in the Virginia Beach public school system and a graduate of Shenandoah College and James Madison University. He played with the Marine Corps Band, The Chesapeake Bay Bearcats and numerous musical groups in Tidewater. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 2nd Marine Division, during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Leticia A. Brenneman; a sister, Alice Billups of Chesapeake; two nephews, Henry and Charles Billups of Chesapeake; and grandnieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Riverside Memorial Park. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
