MELVIN WILLIAMS SR.

Melvin Williams Sr., of the 200 block of Pritchard Road, died March 31, 1995.

Mr. Williams was retired from Tarmac Co. after 30 years and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and American Legion Post 81. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie J. Williams; four sons, Melvin Williams Jr., Vondell Williams, Jerome Williams and Ryan K. Williams; and four sisters, Louise Cuffee, Helen Fentress, Mable Gorum and Georgia Williams, all of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. E. Ray Cox. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is handling arrangements.
