SAMUEL L. WOODHOUSE SR.

Samuel Lee Woodhouse Sr., 51, of the 2000 block of Hollins Court, died March 31, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

He was a native of Norfolk and the son of the late Edward C. and Annie Mingo Woodhouse. He was a warehouse manager for Hajoca Corp. and a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Rosetta A. Woodhouse of the home; a daughter, Regina A. Nichols; a son, Samuel L. Woodhouse II; and two sisters, Ruth L. Gayden and Lyndell L. Woodhouse, all of Norfolk; eight brothers, Spencer Isaac and Eddie Isaac, both of Washington, D.C., James Isaac of Charleston, S.C., Edward Woodhouse, Nathaniel Woodhouse, George Woodhouse, David Woodhouse, all of Norfolk, and Percell Woodhouse of Philadelphia. He will also be sadly missed by his grandmother-in-law Annie L. White of Norfolk, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Norfolk, 312 Kempsville Rd., by the Rev. Tommy Teague. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will be at his residence.
