RICHARD W. MILLIGAN

Richard Wayne Milligan, 29, of 525-B 21st St., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, March 31, 1995, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Richard, a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, was born Sept. 10, 1965, at Norfolk General Hospital. He was a member of Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church and had been employed for over five years with Farm Fresh Inc.

Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Nancy Milligan of Virginia Beach; sister, Karon Milligan of Virginia Beach, sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ellis Carter of Chesapeake; paternal grandmother Kathryn J. Milligan of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparents, Davis and Mae Blanton of Lumberton, N.C.; and a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4th in Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church, 245 S. Rosemont Rd. by the Reverend Ronald W. Lee. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in the Maestas Funeral Home Baltic Avenue Chapel Monday evening from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

It was Richard's wish that in lieu of all flowers, donations be made to Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church Building Fund, 245 S. Rosemont Rd., Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
