ANNE Z. CONNOR

Anne Zevely Connor, 83, of the 1300 block of Oregon Crossing, died on April 1, 1995 in a Chesapeake Nursing Home.

Mrs. Connor was born in Winston Salem, N.C. and was the widow of Thomas J. Connor. She was retired from the Social Security Administration in Arlington, Va. and was a longtime resident of that city before moving to Chesapeake in 1992. She was a Catholic and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Chesapeake and St. Ann Catholic Church in Arlington.

To cherish her memory, she leaves two daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary C. and John Vanderploeg of Chesapeake, Catharine C. and R.P. ``Pat'' Flatley of Walnut Creek, Calif.; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas P. and Joke Connor of Tampa, Fla. and Joseph Michael and Hilda Connor of Culpeper, Va.; one brother, Thomas Zevely of College Park, Md.; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, 1995 in National Memorial Park Cemetery, Falls Church, Va. Oman Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hampton Roads Chapter.
