MAMIE MOORE

Mamie Moore, of the 900 block of Oakwood St., a retired food processor, died March 31, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Moore was born in Halifax, N.C. She had retired from Restin Moore Restaurant after 20 years. She was the widow of John Moore and was a member of St. Luke Holiness Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen B. Hassell of Norfolk; a son, Mr. Charles C. Smith of Norfolk; a sister, Martha Harvey of Plymouth, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other devoted relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Luke Holiness Church, 809 Norchester Ave., by the Rev. Allie Mae Hall. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Metropolitan Funeral Service in charge. Family and friends will assemble at 905 Oakwood St. on Wednesday at noon for funeral processional to the church.
