Hooray for associate editor Beth Barber! Her column ``Trying to feed poor children - without feeding child poverty'' (March 24) was a breath of fresh air.
If only the ``honorables'' in Congress would address the subject with such logic instead of juvenile name-calling, there is a possibility that this problem could be solved.
Ah, politics. The ultimate excuse for behaving without logic, ethics or that very important element stressed by Ms. Barber, civility.
