Margaret Mary Gallup, 91, of Beauregard Drive, died Sunday, April 2, 1995, in the Fairfield Health Center, Fairfield, Calif.
Mrs. Gallup was born in Greensboro, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Francis James and Elizabeth Voltz McSweeney. She was the widow of G. Cecil Gallup. She was a retired secretary with the McCloud Lumber Company and the Eastern Tar Company. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Grand Group, and while in California she attended Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fairfield.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Roderick W. McKenzie of Fairfield, Calif.; three sisters, Ann Miller of Richmond, Va., Elizabeth Deppensmith of El Cajon, Calif., and Kathryn Messina of Santee, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Eileen McSweeney of Chesapeake and Lucille McSweeney of Montclair, Calif.; six granchildren, Deborah Janzen of Fresno, Calif., Catherine Cook, Susan Boren, Leah Arintok, all of Fairfield, John McKenzie and Michael McKenzie, both of Vacaville, Calif.; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church by the Rev. Christian Haydinger and the Rev. Timothy Drake. Interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
