Thomas W. ``Pete'' Parson, 60, of the 400 block of Jefferson Ave., died March 29, 1995.
Mr. Parson was born in Norfolk and attended Mount Olive F.B.H. He retired from the Board of Education after 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Parson; five daughters, Brenda Davenport of Norfolk, Michelle Youboit, Dolly M.P. Hamilton and Beryl S. Ross, all of Philadelphia and Thomasine P. Anderson of Hawaii; eight sons, Harry D. Wilson, Thomas E. Wilson, Ronnie Wilson, Clay Wilson, Troy Wilson, all of Norfolk, Thomas W. Parson Jr., Barry Shurelds and Sean Shurelds, all of Philadelphia; two brothers, James Parson of Washington, D.C., and Thurman Parson of Norfolk; 21 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Bethlehem Baptist Church by the Rev. Bernard H. Branch. Burial will be at a later date. The family will assemble at 2441 Kannon Ave. Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
