Paul P. Lubera, 49, of the 100 block of Dupre Ave., a retired petty officer, died April 4, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Lubera was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years, was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Norfolk, and Knights of Columbus (NU)3548 and was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict era.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hemmer Lubera; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine K. Gajdek and Robert T. Gajdek of Havelock, N.C.; two brothers, Robert Lubera of Lockport, N.Y., and Joseph Lubera of New Mexico; and a stepbrother, Thomas Deitz of Florida.
A funeral will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Prayers will be said at the church at 10 a.m. Friday prior to the burial in Hampton National Cemetery.
