Emily Harper Knakal, 77, a retired school teacher, died April 3, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Knakal was born in Norfolk and was retired from the Norfolk Public Schools. She was the widow of Frank Edward Knakal Sr., and was a member of Ferebee-Halstead Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Frank Edward Knakal Jr. of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park by James F. Brooks. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
