U.S. Navy Airman Karl Hickman, left, of Baton Rouge, La., and Petty

Officer 3rd Class Jong Kim, of New Carrollton, Pa., demonstrate a

flight deck control board Monday to Adm. Feliks Nikolaevich Gromov,

commander in chief of the Russian Federation Navy. The control board

provides an animated reference for the positioning of aircraft

operating on the ship's flight deck. Gromov was onboard the aircraft

carrier America for a ship familiarization tour.
