Grand larceny, 600 block North Main St., March 24, someone reports that his '91 Mazda was broken into through the right front window and approximately $2,000 worth of items were removed including a stereo, amplifier and CD's.
Petit larceny, 400 block South Wellons St., March 28, someone removed an 18-speed Mountain Ridge ladies bike with a purple frame and pink brake cables from outside a residence.
Unauthorized use of motor vehicles, 1900 block North Main St., March 29, a two-door, Silver '86 Toyota Celica GT was borrowed but not returned.
Motor vehicle theft, 2500 block William Reid Drive, someone removed a dark blue, four-door '80 Chevrolet Citation from a driveway without permission.

Breaking and entering (business), 2300 block East Washington St., March 23, someone pried open a lock to the front door and removed one battery charger valued at $98.
Grand larceny, 2500 block East Washington St., March 23, someone reports that a person forced him to take his Zenith VCR to a room and leave it. When the incident was reported, the VCR was missing and the person denied knowledge of the incident.
Shooting into occupied residence, 300 block Highland Ave., March 23, someone fired eight rounds through a screened porch.
Petit larceny, 2300 block East Washington St., March 24, someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker and a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle. A Virginia state inspection sticker was also removed from another vehicle.
Breaking and entering (house), 300 block Cedar St., March 24, someone entered a residence by removing the glass from the rear door and took four VCR tapes, five pairs of designer jeans, a Columbian raincoat, a pair of Timberland brand boots and a Walkman cassette player.
Petit larceny, 2300 block East Washington St., March 25, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle.
Breaking and entering (business), 1000 block Wilroy Road, March 27, someone gained entry by prying and breaking out boards on a south side wall. Once inside, several cabinets were rifled through and one Skil circular saw valued at $60 was removed.
