Mabel Creecy Rose, 90, of the 500 block of 24th St., died April 5, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Rose, a native of Norfolk, was a member of First Christian Church of Norfolk, 1600 Colonial Ave.
Survivors include her husband, Emory Lee Rose Sr.; a daughter, Cathrine Duvall Williams; a son, Emory Lee Rose Jr.; and a sister, Paulina Wilkenson Wallace, all of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Paul Kingston Duvall of Fairfax, Va., Nancallee Duvall Thompson of Manassas, Va., Kipal Duvall Bonniville of Chesapeake, Jeffrey Lee Rose and Brian Emory Rose, both of Norfolk; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Eastern Shore Episcopal Church Cemetery by the Rev. Jack Austin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad at 18th and Baltic Ave. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
