KENNETH O. BAKER

Kenneth Owen Baker, 73, of the 1200 block of Wilbur Ave., died April 5, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mr. Baker was born in South Norfolk and retired as regional manager of international commerce for Norfolk & Western Railroad in 1977 after 38 years. He was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church; lifetime honorary member and former chairman of the Administrative Board of the church; member of the Howell Bible Class; and life member of Hampton Roads Traffic Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II and Korea.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Elizabeth Baker; and two grandchildren, Randall Keith Baker and Kendra Lynne Baker, both of Virginia Beach.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. John Andrews. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
