Herbert B. Yopp, 77, of the 3700 block of Town Point Road, died April 5, 1995, in Portsmouth.
Mr. Yopp was born in Floyd County, Va., and retired in 1991 as a supervisor from Williams Corp. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby K. Yopp; a daughter, Bonnie Y. Berryman of Suffolk; two sons, Ronnie Yopp and Richard L. Yopp, both of Portsmouth; two sisters; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by Pastor Lynn Hardaway. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence after the funeral service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the local Humane Society.
