Dwight Shontz Russell, 85, of the 3400 block of Haley Court, died April 6, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Russell was born in Wellsville, Ohio, and was the retired owner of Russell's Menswear in Wellsville. He was a member of Riverside Presbyterian Church, Wellsville, and was a World War II veteran of the Army Airforce.
Survivors include his wife, Jean M. Russell; a daughter, Sally Fiber of Grove City, Ohio; two sons, Timothy Russell of Virginia Beach and Craig Russell of Kent, Ohio; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. Wally Sherbon. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to one's favorite charity.
