Charlise Lyles, author of ``Do I Dare Disturb the Universe: From the Projects to Prep School,'' will be the guest speaker for Friends of the Old Dominion University Library's first Author Dinner on Wednesday.
The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the River Room of Webb Center on the Old Dominion campus.
Lyles is a former Virginian-Pilot columnist.
