I wonder who at Virginia Beach City Hall came up with the wild idea to tax cellular service at $3 per month.
It shouldn't surprise me that someone did. Our food (both restaurant and grocery), property, cable service, telephone service, water/sewage, electricity and stormwater are taxed - and now cellular service.
Instead of finding ways to cut the budget and save the citizens money, the city would rather tax, tax, tax.
I surely would like to have someone running for City Council who would ensure that it is putting the best interest of the city before the tax-and-spend concepts. Mr. Moss will be missed.
