Catherine T. Wecht, 79, of the 600 block of Montebello Circle, died April 6, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Wecht was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, John E. Wecht Sr.; three sons, Robert G. Wecht of Virginia Beach, James M. Wecht of Bluepoint, N.Y., and Kenneth A. Wecht of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mary Fleig and Philomena Reitmann; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John E. Wecht Jr.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. today in Prince of Peace Catholic Church by Fr. Christian Haydinger. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is in charge.
