Frank O. Bateman Sr., 82, of Tulane Road., died April 7, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Bateman was born in Plymouth, N.C., and was a retired electrician for Naval Supply Center after 30 years. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include wife, Louise Duvall Bateman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank O. Bateman Jr. and Ellie Bateman of Chesapeake and John D. Bateman and Loretta Bateman of Scottsdale, Az.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Monday, April 10, 1995, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Peter G. Magill in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may view at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel on Sunday afternoon and evening. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 1445 Norview Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
