Ella Quitt Forman Hoon, 77, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, died April 6, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Hoon was formerly of Phoenix, Ariz., and was the widow of Edward L. Hoon. She was a retired educator, school principal, and college professor. Dr. Hoon was a nationally known educator, teacher, and administrator who spent her professional career in Phoenix, Ariz. Her retirement years were spent traveling before moving to Virginia Beach, Va., in 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Dr. Judith F. Lewis of Virginia Beach; one son, Steven R. Forman of California; one brother, Dr. Leonard Quitt of New York City, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Emily Forman; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private, and burial will be held at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel in charge.
