JAMES P. JOHNSON

James P. ``Jimmy'' Johnson, 64, of the 700 block of Canal Drive, died April 8, 1995.

He was a native of Norfolk County and was the owner and operator of Bills Radiator Service and Jim Johnson Auto Service. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma R. Johnson; one son, Kenneth A. Robol of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mary R. Patterson and Ann M. Holcomb, both of Chesapeake; six brothers, John J. Johnson, Page S. Johnson, Sidney R. Johnson, Brooks Johnson, Frederick M. Johnson and Richard T. Johnson, all of Chesapeake; one grandson, Kenneth Alexander Robol; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lucy J. Robol and Jean G. Wells, and by two brothers, Douglas T. Johnson and Allen Johnson.

The funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Monday in Wayside Baptist Church by the Rev. Weaver Futrell and Jack Joyner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Wayside Baptist Church Building Fund.
