WILLIAM T. BEACHAM

William Thomas (Tom) Beacham, 88, died Friday April 7, 1995, at the Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City, NC. Mr. Beacham was born in Kitty Hawk, NC. Mr. Beacham retired from the United States Coast Guard as CWO, a veteran of World War II, and was a self-employed carpenter. He attended the Primitive Baptist Church in Kitty Hawk. He was a member of the American Legion Post (NU)26, the Manteo Masonic Lodge (NU)521, the Roanoke Island Chapter of the Eastern Star (NU)79, and Order of the Amaranth Coastal Court (NU)12. He was the son of the late William Thomas and Cassie Dunton Beacham and the husband of the late Irma Partridge Beacham.

Mr. Beacham is survived by one son, William Thomas (Bill) Beacham III of Philadelphia, Pa., five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, April 10, 1995, at 11:00 am in the Austin Cemetery, Kitty Hawk by the Reverend Royce Beacham. Masonic Rites will be conducted at the grave. The family will be at the home of Sammy and Jackie Smith, 3864 Mooreshore Road, Kitty Hawk.

Twiford's Colony Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
