Frances P. Lassiter, of the 1000 block of Mahone Ave., a housewife, died April 6, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Lassiter was born in Norfolk. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Lassiter Sr.; two daughters, Sandra L. Grantuna of Augusta, Ga., and Donna M. McClain of Norfolk; five sons, James E. Lassiter Jr. and Sheldon L. Lassiter, both of Chesapeake, and Terry M. Lassiter, Dwayne J. Lassiter and Darren K. Lassiter, all of Norfolk; her father, Norman Cox of Norfolk; two sisters, Bernice Cox of Philadelphia, Pa., and Erma Love of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Norman Cox Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday at First Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Calvin James. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Monday.
