Patricia Fentress Potter, 86, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, a retired steno clerk, died April 7, 1995.
Mrs. Potter was born in Currituck County, N.C. She retired from J.C. Council after 22 years, was the widow of the late Francis R. Young and the late Cole L. Potter and a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church and O.E.S. Rebecca Lodge (NU)13.
Survivors include a daughter, Nel Rae Keel of Chesapeake; a son, Richard F. Young of Norfolk; three sisters, Ophelia Magness, Hazel Plessinger and Marie Pierce, all of Norfolk; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A friends and family night with memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Max G. Culler. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lafayette Presbyterian Church.
