JAMES F. FOY

James Frank Foy, 66, of the 4400 block of Trafton Arch, a self-employed builder, died April 9, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Foy was born in Millsprings, N.C. He was a Baptist and attained rank of corporal and was a medic in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis James Foy.

Survivors include his wife, Joy E. Foy of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Celian Rebecca Morrissey and Debra Foy Sullivan, both of Virginia Beach and Cathy Euleen Bailey of Norfolk; two sisters, Gladys Hallford of Millsprings and Ruth Cook of Nashville, Tenn.; five brothers, Earl Foy and Harold Foy, both of Tryon, N.C., Jesse Foy, Fred Foy and Clarence McCraw, all of Millsprings; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Mark J. Bender. Burial will be in Millsprings Baptist Church, Millsprings, N.C., at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507.
