LESLIE W. SPIERS

Leslie Wilson Spiers, 82, died April 9, 1995, in Suffolk.

Mr. Spiers was born in Smithfield, Va. He had retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp. He was the widower of Eva Barnes Spiers and was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. He was a member of McLemore Bible Class and past president of Methodist Men and past lay leader. He was a member of Suffolk Masonic Lodge 30, A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rites, Portsmouth, Khedive Temple and was past commander of American Legion Post 57 and T.P.A. Post P. Mr. Spiers was a kind and generous man especially to his beloved wife, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hill Funeral Home by Dr. Alan R. Felumlee. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with masonic rites. Memorials to Alzheimers Association, 20 Koger Center, Suite 33, Norfolk, Va. 23502 or Main Street United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 202 N. Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and other times at the home of Margaret Gardner, 3212 Holland Road, Suffolk.
