Gladys A. Ramsey, 71, died Sunday, April 9, 1995, in Salem. She was a native of Buena Vista and the widow of Russell R. Ramsey Sr.
Survivors include a son, Russell R. Ramsey Jr. of Dubuque, Iowa; a sister, Alva Young of Bealeton; and two grandchildren, Russell R. Ramsey III of Richmond and Elizabeth Anne Hawkins of Denver, Colo.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. James Smals. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association. John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, is in charge of arrangements.
