Ima Lou Sheppard, 74, died at Hillhaven Nansemond Convalescent Home on April 9, 1995.
Ima Lou Sheppard was a member of Main Street Methodist Church in Suffolk. She was a retired teacher from San Antonio, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Robert M. Sheppard; one sister, Ann Barber of Suffolk; one brother, Milton Martin of Harrison, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday 11 a.m. at Main Street Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Methodist Memorial Funds or to Suffolk Rescue and Emergency Squad.
