Lee Caldwell, 83, of the 2500 block of Lynnriver Drive, died April 8, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Caldwell was born in Kings Mountain, N.C., and was retired from civil service at the Public Works Department of Oceana Naval Air Station after 30 years of service. He volunteered for the London Bridge Fire Department for years.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Hazel B. Caldwell; two sons, Robert F. Caldwell and James Lee Caldwell, both of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Clark L. Mandigo. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
