Hallye Rose West, nee Ashe, of Albany, died Saturday, April 8, 1995, at her home after a long illness.
Born in Norfolk, Va., she was a former resident of Philadelphia, Pa., before moving to Albany.
She was the widow of Allen P. West and is survived by two nephews, Bernard F. Ashe of Delmar, N.Y., and A. Vincent Ashe of Washington, D.C.; and three grand-nephews.
Private services under the direction of the Applebee Funeral Home, Delmar, N.Y., were held at the family's convenience. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar, N.Y. The family requests contributions be made to either the American Heart Association in care of your local chapter or St. Peters's Hospice, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, N.Y. 12208.
