Virginia ``Ginny'' Smith Shephard, 82, of the 5100 block of Dandy Court, a retired cook, died April 7, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk.
Mrs. Shephard was born in Princess Anne County and was retired as a cook after 25 years of service. She was the widow of Ernest Shephard and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a sister Shirley L. Bell and a brother, Jack Smith, both of Virginia Beach. She was also survived by Clifton Boyd, Velma L. Boyd, Gladys L. Patterson, Alfonza Smith, Robert L. Hargrow and Linda Smith.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Morning Star Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. C.H. Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will leave from 412 Southgate Ave., Virginia Beach. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
