Louis W. Kresse, 74, who lived in the area for 29 years, died April 9, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Kresse was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a retired salesman for the Kotarides Baking Company known as Mary Jane. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of E.O.U.V. Club, Cleveland, Ohio, and the Loyal Order of Moose (NU)898, Portsmouth, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. Kresse; four sons, William L. Kresse and Robert J. Kresse, both of Virginia Beach, Brian A. Kresse of Milford, Delaware, and Louis J. Kresse of Point Harbor, N.C.; three grandchildren, Joseph Kresse, Heather Kresse and Vincent Kresse, all of Virginia Beach; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral will be Wednesday, April 12, 1995, at 2:30 p.m. in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, Va. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 2 to 9 p.m. Also, a Moose ritual will be accorded at 6 p.m., and a Christian wake service will be held sometime during the evening.
