ROY WEBB

Roy Webb, 63, of the 800 block of Devonshire Court, a retired brakeman, died April 9, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mr. Webb was born in Rolfe, W.Va., and was retired from the Norfolk & Western Railroad. He was a member of Bible World Church in Chesapeake. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Scott of Chesapeake and Edith Hawkins of Virginia Beach; a son, the Rev. Michael Webb of Chesapeake; five sisters, Opal Sherrill, Mary Lamm, Ruby Hemmings, all of Portsmouth, Pearl Hemmings of Chesapeake and Toby Wigfield of Madison, Va.; three brothers, Archie Donald Webb of Suffolk, Thomas Ronald Webb of New York and Paul Webb of Florida; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Bible World Church by the Rev. Robert E. Hall. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
