NVIEW'S LOW PRODUCTION LEADS TO QUARTER'S LOSS

Shares of Newport News-based nView Corp. fell 13 percent after the company said production problems will result in a first quarter loss. nView, which makes LCD projectors used in business presentations, said it was not able to meet all of its booked orders because of lower-than-planned production of its new nFinity projector and a shortage of an unspecified component. Given the lower revenue and higher production and marketing costs, the company expects to post an unspecified loss for the quarter, nView said. (Bloomberg Business News) by CNB
