Gerald Harper Hoffman, 61, of 69th Street, died April 12, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a longtime resident of Randolph, N.J., and moved to Virginia Beach in 1992. Mr. Hoffman served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a graduate of La Salle University and made his career in marketing in the aviation industry. He was an enthusiastic pilot, motorcyclist and gardener.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Zelma Hoffman of Philadelphia; a son, Scott Hoffman of Dexter, Maine; a daughter, Kendal Ann Camp-Bell of New Jersey; three grandsons; one granddaughter; and devoted nieces and friends.
Services and burial will be out of state. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
