Samuel M. Richardson Jr., 73, of the 1100 block of Land St., a retired maintenance electrician for the Norfolk School Board, died April 11, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Richardson was born in Norfolk and was a Methodist. He was retired after 15 years and was also retired from the U.S. Navy with 24 1/2 years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge (NU)335, Ocean View.
Survivors include his wife, Doris M. Richardson of the home; a son, Keith W. Richardson of Chesapeake; two sisters, Louise R. Farris and June A. Fallick, both of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Michelle A. Richardson of Suffolk.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Warren Wilson at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, with Masonic rites to follow. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall/Kempsville Chapel.
