Nellie Marie Crockett, 89, of the 800 block of St. Denis Court, died April 11, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Manns Harbor, N.C., and was the widow of Harry T. Crockett. She was a member of Rosemont Christian Church in Chesapeake and was a former apartment owner in South Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Hewett of Virginia Beach; a sister, Eva Smiley of Chesapeake; a half brother, Edward Mason of Virginia Beach; two grandsons, Hugh Conway Cosner and Harry Wayne Cosner, and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Marie Cosner, all of Fredericksburg, Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Harrell. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. today.
