Patricia ``Pat'' N. Smith, 52, a schoolteacher, died April 11, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Smith was born in Lockhaven, Pa., and was an Episcopal. She was employed with the Norfolk Public Schools. She was a lead teacher, presenter and author. Mrs. Smith received her B.A. from Indiana University at Pennsylvania and her master's from West Virginia University. She was a member of TATE-L.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Smith and Adam Smith, both of Norfolk; her mother, Betty W. Neilson of Virginia Beach; and a brother, Bruce E. Neilson of Tampa, Fla.
A memroial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Mark Delcuze. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pat Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Norview High School, Middleton Place, Norfolk.
