Clifton H. Moore Jr. died April 8, 1995, in Mercy Hospital in Hempstead.
He was born in Portsmouth.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Moore of New York; his mother, Ruth B. Moore of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mary Blunt and Levoria Eley, both of Portsmouth; a brother, James Moore of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Temple of Faith Love Center, 2709 Campostella Road, Chesapeake, by the Rev. James B. Williams. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will assemble at 2114 Effingham St., Portsmouth, for the processional at 11 a.m. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
