George Raymond Jenkins Jr., 31, of the 500 block of Canine Trail, died April 12, 1995.
A native of Suffolk, he was a surveyor. Mr. Jenkins was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Loyal Order of Moose 141 and a former Boy Scout.
Survivors include his father and mother, George Raymond Jenkins Sr. and Elizabeth Verner Jenkins; his wife, Deborah Morris Jenkins; a daughter, Stephanie Renee Jenkins of Suffolk; a son, George Raymond Jenkins III of Suffolk; two sisters, Susan J. Jones and Debra J. Johnson, both of Suffolk; a brother, William Alfred Jenkins of Suffolk; paternal grandparents, George W. and Bessie Ellen Jenkins of Sperryville.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. H. Vance Mann. The family will receive friends in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439, or to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 213 N.
