Harry Tilden Smith, 79, of the 800 block of Craig Drive, died April 12, 1995.
A native of Lynnhaven, he was the son of the late Curtis Lee Smith Sr. and Hattie Wilson Smith and the widower of Lillie Doxey Smith. Mr. Smith was the owner and operator of Smith Optical for 35 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Suffolk Masonic Lodge (NU)30, Mount Nebo Royal Arch (NU)20, Portsmouth Commandery (NU)5 Knights Templar, Khedive Temple, Suffolk Shrine Club, Sinai Chapter (NU)18 Order of Eastern Star and the Rogers Deer Club.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson. The family will receive friends at the home.
