MARY C. CROWLING

Mary C. Crowling, 82, of the 1800 block of Ara St., died April 12, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Crowling, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Marcellus J. Crowling. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include two daughters, Catherine C. Akers and Mary V. Crowling; a son, Marcellus J. Crowling Jr., all of Norfolk; five sisters, Theresa Humphreys, Johanna Simpson, both of Virginia Beach, Ada McKenzie, Alice Degenheardt, both of Norfolk, and Ann Taylor of Chesapeake; a brother, James L. Crump of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Carol A. Akers and William Akers, both of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery by Fr. Edward Richardson. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel.
