Loadings of coal at Hampton Roads' three coal terminals are up 11.6 percent in the first three months of 1995 compared to last year. The port had its worst year in coal shipments last year when only 43.3 million tons of coal were dumped in holds of visiting bulk freighters. The terminals in Norfolk and Newport News loaded nearly 12 million tons of coal in the first quarter, up from 10.7 million in the same period of 1994. (Staff) by CNB
