I think columnist Molly Ivins is a treasure. Her wit and wisdom make some of the other columnists (mostly men) seem ponderous and mean-spirited.
Ms. Ivins' recent defense of Hillary Rodham Clinton was not only right on the mark; it was long overdue.
Will we never be satisfied? We now have a first lady who is highly educated; a professional with a long history of working for children's causes; a caring, bright, attractive woman. Because she is outspoken about her beliefs, which all good citizens should be, she is insulted by those who will never match her accomplishments.
As Molly Ivins said: ``Enough. More than enough.''
Let's honor Mrs. Clinton and be thankful that we have her caring presence in our world.
