ROBERT G. POHLMEYER

Robert G. Pohlmeyer, 71, better known as ``Capt. Bob,'' died April 13, 1995, at his home.

Mr. Pohlmeyer was born in Chincoteague, the son of the late Gus and Genevieve Kamdarn Pohlmeyer. He was the founder of Capt. Bob's Fishing Camp in 1960 and was a pioneer in the marina industry in Chincoteague.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Bowden Pohlmeyer; one stepdaughter, Donna Rae Roeske of Virginia Beach; and a niece, Kathy Pohlmeyer of Columbia, Md.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague, with burial in Downing Cemetery in Oak Hall. Friends may call at Salyer Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
